About the Scholarship

INTO and the University of East Anglia are happy to announce a number of scholarships available for students from Moldova to study on following International Foundation pathways, starting in September 2018:
Business, Economics, Society and Culture
Humanities and Law
Mathematics and Actuarial Sciences
Pharmacy, Health and Life Sciences
Physical Sciences and Engineering

The amount of scholarship is 18.195 GBP (18.715 GBP for science pathways) and it will be paid in 2 parts:
50% (£9097.5) – deducted from the International Foundation tuition fee;
50% (£9097.5) – deducted from the first year of tuition fees at UEA upon progression.

Application Process

Who can apply?

Age limit: 17+ (at the time of the scholarship application)
High school students in their final year (12 form)
College students (only year 3 or 4)
University students (1st year)
Students with Intermediate level of English (IELTS 5.5 min.)
Genuinely interested and motivated to attend University of East Anglia

FAQ

We do NOT require a formal English language exam in order to be entered for the Scholarship selection, however the winning non EU (countries outside EU) candidates may be required to pass an IELTS test as per UK Border Agency requirements in case they are 18.
No. The Scholarship does not have any money value, is not trasferable to another person and comes as a discount to your tuition fees for academic programmes at INTO UEA.
Unfortunatelly, no further financial support will be available for winning students, so plan your finances well in advance and discuss further financing/sponsoring options with your family or sponsor.
Yes. For all non EU winning candidates we will provide full VISA support. It should be noted however, that this does not cover the VISA fee itself for the UK.
At this stage, you are expected to fill in the Registration form below and provide necessary admission pack:
1. Passport copy
2. High school transcript
3. Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS etc.)
Deadline for registration and admission pack submission is 25th of May 2018, 12:00 noon.

Please, note that the incomplete applications or submitted after deadline (25th of May 12.00 noon) will be automatically rejected.


To this stage are admitted students who will receive a study place offer after completing 1st stage. The students are expected to write an essay no longer than 200 words according to the requirements below:
- why you want to study at INTO UEA
- how the programme will help you in the future
- why you should receive the award.
Deadline for essay submission is 30th of May 2018, 12:00 noon.

The results will be announced by the 4th of June 2018.
