About the Scholarship

Istituto Marangoni offers scholarships up to the amount of 1.000.000 EUR as a facilitation to the enrollment in its courses to the best young talents. Scholarships in this case are intended as a deduction on the tuition fees. This Scholarship Campaign is dedicated to those applying to Courses starting in the February 2017 intake.
You can apply for one of the following scholarship options:
5.000€ deduction on the tuition fee
50% deduction on the tuition fee and enrolment fee
100% deduction on the tuition fee (you must pay enrollment fee)
for courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level offered by Istituto Marangoni.

Please note that courses at postgraduate level are the following:
Master’s Degree for the London School of Fashion
Cycle de Spécialisation for the Paris School of Fashion
Master’s programme for the Milano School of Fashion and School of Design
Semester programmes for the Firenze School of Fashion & Art.

Application Process

List of documents for undergraduate programmes admission:
Signed letter stating your motivation for a scholarship request
Photocopy of High School Diploma and school certificates
Photocopy of passport

Grades transcript

List of documents for postgraduate (Master level) programmes admission:
Signed letter stating your motivation for a scholarship request
Curriculum Vitae
2 reference letters
Copy of University Degree certificate
Copy of passport
Portfolio (where requested)

IMPORTANT! Non-native English speakers need to provide a copy of the official English Language Certificate: The English language test score should be at least upper B2 on the CEFR level - i.e. IELTS overall score of 6.5 with no modules below 5.5* (for Master’s Degree Programme and Cycle de Spécialisation, courses in English)**
* the minimum English language requirements are subject to change and can be checked here.
** non-European Students applying to London must provide a IELTS for UKVI language certificate.

In order to submit the scholarship application, you will need to:
1. register on the Istituto Marangoni scholarship website
2. upload your own "dream" (see below);
3. submit the application(s) in the dedicated website area, including all the necessary documents.

About "your dream" and how the platform works
Candidates shall present their free-subject creative concept (the dream) through the following:
one or more images (.jpg, max. size: 2mb per image, minimum dimension: 600x400px)
an evocative phrase about the dream (max. 100 characters)
a profile description (max. 800 characters)
a candidate photograph (.jpg, max. size: 2mb per image, minimum dimension: 720x500px).

Candidates interested in courses at postgraduate and undergraduate level, starting in the February 2017 intake, shall upload the requested materials and finalize the application no later than Friday, October 28th 2016. Candidates will receive a confirmation e-mail for the application submitted. If candidates do not receive the confirmation email, are invited to contact scholarships@istitutomarangoni.com no later than 24 hours after submission.
By completing the registration form, you agree with the Scholarship Campaign Rules and Regulations published on the dedicated website.

The Istituto Marangoni Scholarship Committee is composed by Istituto Marangoni leading Faculty members. The Istituto Marangoni Scholarship Committee will unquestionably judge and select the most appropriate candidate profiles.
Istituto Marangoni Scholarship Committee will select the scholarship winners based on the material provided by the candidate as well as the creativity and originality of his/her dream.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application once the Scholarship Committee will have come to a final decision, over the following indicative period: 15th–30th of November, 2016.
